Additional Information
|
Two copies of letters of the Swedish field marshal Johan Banér are attached to the letter. The reconstructed key contains homophonic substitution, bigrams (one ciphertext character for one bigram) and nulls. The ciphertext characters are mostly numeric, less alphabetic (more Latin and less Greek alphabet) and there are also a few graphic signs. The language of the cleartext and the plaintext is German, but the text may also contain Latin phrases or words. The cleartext is not completely inline, but is situated after the ciphertext.
