Additional Information
This is a typical :yonet/Croiset cipher, with dots, crosses or dashes written above each 3-d9g9t codebroup to hide the overall numerical structure of the nomenclator. The codebook may have been the one in use for Berlin, as Poland did not merit much independent attention. The dating may not be correct. the folder tells us 1791, whereas in the letter 1793 seems to have been written. The last date is more likely, as Van Reede was in Waraw during that time This may indicate that the inventory number is not correctly cited, however. Further research is required.
