Additional Information
One of two unsolved letters, one with the date indicated in the name of the document en one without date, probably written by the Minister ofForeign Affairs in the Kingdom of Holland to his ambassador in Turkey. These letters are not addressed nor signed, but the 4-digit codegroups seem to inplicate that we are dealing with official correspondence. Furhter research is required, however, as Van Dedem was already on
his way home, when the letter was sent. Literature: Henk Boon, Frederik Gijsbert baron van Dedem. Onze man in Constantinopel (2012).
