Additional Information
A nomenclature with a ciphering and a deciphering table, consisitng of over 5000 codegroups, all 2-, 3-, or 4-digit numbers. A mixed code, used by Stadholder William V for messages too sensitive to be handled by the code clerks of in the service of the States General. The presence of a tabel for superencipherment points to the work of Johann Friederich Euler who acted as a librarian and a tutor at the Court in The Hague.
